Eric Shiao is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. He previously earned his Master's degrees at Carnegie Mellon University and National Taiwan University, specializing  in the design of medical instruments and assistive devices.

Research Interests

Eric's research interests revolve around the wide-ranging application of machine learning models in rehabilitation. His current work involves investigating the use of limb acceleration signals to predict functional ambulation outcomes for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
