Grace Haas

  • Advisor: Lee Fisher

Grace Haas is a fourth-year student at Syracuse University majoring in Bioengineering and Neuroscience.  As an undergraduate researcher at SU, she has experience working with polymer foams for wound healing applications.

Research Interest Summary

Neurostimulation, Neuroprosthetics, Spinal Cord Injury, Neurodegenerative Disease, Motor Rehabilitation

Research Interests

Grace is interested in the design of hybrid polymer and electrical devices for improved treatment of neurological disorders, especially those that lead to a disruption or loss of motor function.  She wishes to study the effect of electrical stimulation of the spinal cord for eventual restored or improved function.
